Working out, working at your job, overexerting yourself with kids, the stress of life and just overall can be very taxing on the body and mind. It’s also not a very healthy combination, we all want to be able to see our children grow and have grandchildren and for some of us see our grandchildren have children!! So it comes to no surprise you need to make sure your body gets the nutrients it needs to crank out years in that body and just keep it fine-tuned for the long haul. Whether it is in the form of a healthy vegetable smoothie, fruit smoothie, or some other healthy food recipe it’s imperative that it is something healthy. The problem with that for so many people is that fast food is so much cheaper and easier to attain. Also, who really wants to cook and there are only sooo many times a healthy dish can be served, right?? Well if that’s your reason explain THIS!!! Crazy thing is that metabolic cooking kills 2 or 3 birds with one stone. Those birds are eating healthy, increasing your metabolism and having a variety of healthy recipes to choose from. Not bad at all if I say so myself!!
The reason I’m so adamant about healthy dishes is because I’m an athlete who has competed at every level. So I’ve had a lot of time to try different diets and recipes and really learn my body. Whether it was high school, college or pro there’s one message that is the same all across the board. That message is “If you take care of your body it will take care of you.” I’ve had to gain weight, lose weight and everything in between!! If there is one thing I can tell you that has worked for me it’s knowing my body and knowing what I can eat and can’t eat as far as performance and overall feel. Healthy diets are the way and there’s no other way to spell that out. It’s imperative whether you’re an athlete like me or someone trying to get the most out of their body. One thing I will tell you is that it is very important to try many different healthy recipes and diets. The key to eating these foods is seeing which ones can help improve your metabolism. A fast metabolism is essential because it’s the process of churning out the food you enter your body into energy, not having foods “stick” and for keeping a consistent weight.
